Assistant Controller
RMI Laser, LLC is seeking an accounting guru who will be working closely with our Accounting Manager. The right person will have the ability to prioritize and multitask. This person will have the motivation to be someone who wears different hats in a close-knit team. They have a very strong attention to accuracy and detail.
*Please note this is a functional manager position. There are no direct employee reports.
Duties include but are not limited to:
– Perform data entry for accounts payable. Including accurately review, code, and process vendor invoices.
– Perform data entry associated with discrepancies.
– Maintain a large number of vendor accounts while staying in compliance with company policies and procedure.
– Address and respond to vendor inquiries.
– Audit and process credit card bills.
– General data entry and administrative tasks as needed.
Skills and Experience Requirements
– Knowledgeable in Word, Excel, and math computation.
– Experience with Sage helpful.
– Associates degree and some previous accounting clerk experience desired.
$60,000-$65,000 salary

Laser Application Technician
RMI Laser, LLC is seeking a technician to work with a close-knit team and test laser systems and applications.
This opportunity provides training and allows for development/advancement within the company as you acquire skill-sets and technical knowledge. The person who is the right fit will want to build a career in a niche industry while learning a variety of skill-sets around our products.
This includes:
– Building image files in SW Pro and editing them in Photoshop, Corel Draw or Adobe Illustrator.
– Test marking customer samples and documenting settings for producing the best mark.
– Tracking customer-provided sample products.
– Providing updates, status, and completion information to assigned sales member.
– Loading specified software packages, operating system, drivers, and updates into computer.
– Setting up electronic and optical instruments to test laser systems, ensuring equipment meets or exceeds all system specs.
– Verifying laser system matches Sales Order specs and preparing system for delivery.
– Conducting Pre-Departure Quality Testing before the product leaves the facility.
– An Associate’s degree and/or 2 years experience in a technical field is a plus.
– A high school diploma/GED is required.
Candidates must be fluent in English, have an aptitude and interest in mechanical or electro-mechanical devices, basic troubleshooting skills, basic computer skills, and be able to read and follow verbal and written instructions. Knowledge of image manipulation using Corel Draw, Photoshop, and/or Adobe Illustrator and an eye for graphics/visual design desired.

Laser Applications Lab Technician
RMI Laser LLC. is seeking a dual-position technician. This is an entry-level position with some understanding of graphic design. This position operates all lasers within our applications lab for sample testing and applications testing.
Our Application Lab is where all the sample creation and testing happens for new projects and potential customers. In this role, the technician will learn each system and document each sample created. Interfaces with Sales Team, Technical Team, and Operations.
Our OEM Laser is a customized laser group that interacts heavily with the vape industry. The technician will assist the owner of the company to assist with quality and customer needs.
Application Lab Duties
– Completes sample marking of samples sent in by customers using appropriate laser including building the files in SW Pro and editing them in Photoshop, Corel Draw or Adobe Illustrator.
– Helps maintain Applications Lab laser units with up-to-date software and firmware.
– Documents in all samples – in the lab and on the network. Ensures all settings and parameters are recorded.
– Records and Tracks Customer-provided materials.
– Maintains Application Lab tidiness.
OEM Laser Unit Duties : evolving role for Customer Service and career development.
– Tests new revisions of software and firmware for bugs.
– When requested, assists with PDT testing of units to be shipped.
Requirements
– One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
– Some Graphics Experience is a plus.
This is a full-time position with benefits available at 90-days employment.

RMI Laser, LLC is seeking a technician who wants to work with a close-knit team to learn troubleshooting, repairing, and testing laser systems. We call this our “Flex Tech” position because we have several open positions through our production department that will involve cross-training.
The person who is the right fit will want to build a career in a niche industry while learning a variety of skill-sets around our products.
This includes:
– Troubleshooting and repairing laser equipment in house.
– Setting up electronic and optical instruments to test laser systems, insuring equipment meets or exceeds all system specs.
– Loading specified software packages, operating system, and drivers into computer.
– Verifying laser system matches Sales Order specs and preparing system for delivery.
– Providing updates, status, and completion information to manager.
– Pre-Departure Quality Testing before the product leaves the facility.
– Enclosure Building.
– Laser Safety.
– An Associate’s degree in a field and/or 2 years technical support experience is a plus.
A High School Diploma/GED is required.
Candidates must be fluent in English, have basic electromechanical troubleshooting skills, computer hardware troubleshooting and assembly skills, basic computer skills, and professional demeanor.

Quality Engineer
Rocky Mountain Instrument, CO. is looking for a Quality Engineer who has experience with optics and environmental testing. The Quality Engineer utilizes technical skills and tools to test optical components effectively and efficiently. This position provides support by performing all testing activities and assisting the production team to complete successful projects.
Responsibilities:
– Develop, maintain and execute testing for optical components.
– Maintain and execute all environmental quality testing.
– Follow quality assurance standards and track quality assurance activities.
– Communicate effectively with team members at all levels.
– Document test results and assist with return management.
– Produce status reports related to the testing process.
– Perform analysis related to enhancements to the application.
– Review and maintain all project documentation in accordance with department procedures.
– Support testing of application and environmental upgrades as well as resolution of production issues.
– Track, manage and perform gage and instrument calibration. Collaborate with Operations management on external calibration needs and scheduling.
– Assist with team quality training needs and other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred or commensurate experience and/or 4+ years Quality Assurance experience.
Experience in operating analytical instruments and tools: interferometer, drop dials, calipers, micrometers, optical comparator, photo spectrophotometer.
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and written communications. Korean language skills are a plus.
$45,000-$55,000 salary
