The Portable Travel Enclosure (Class I) allows for fast and easy setup and teardown. The enclosure features a laser safety door to access the marking chamber. Focusing the laser is quick and easy: simply activate the focusing diode and turn the external knob to adjust the height of the work surface. The work surface is an aluminum breadboard with pins for locating parts or fixtures under the laser. There is a built in LED light array with a switch on top of the enclosure. If fume extraction is needed there is an adjustable nozzle over the work surface connected to an external vent as well as an air intake vent.
The UM-2 marker head mounts directly onto the top of the enclosure and can be packed in the case still mounted to the enclosure. The travel case has room for the laser marking system, enclosure, cables, and a laptop; while weighing just 70 lbs (approximately).
